Medical and industrial power supplies in the power range from 30 to 1500 watts play a crucial role in numerous applications. In medical technology, reliable power supplies are essential for devices such as medical imaging systems, patient monitoring devices and surgical instruments. They must meet the highest safety standards and often also comply with standards such as IEC 60601-1 for medical electrical equipment.
Industrial power supplies in this power class are used in automation technology, telecommunications, IT infrastructure and industrial machinery. They must be robust, efficient and able to operate stably under different environmental conditions. They often require special features such as remote monitoring, power factor correction (PFC) and high energy efficiency in accordance with industry standards such as EN 60950 for IT equipment or EN 61000 for EMC.
The CUS series from TDK-Lambda converts AC mains voltage with 30 to 1500 W power to 5 to 48 V DC. They can also be used for medical, audio and broadcast technology. The CUT model offers three output voltages.
