Programmable power supply in 1U
The successful GENESYS+™ laboratory power supply series in a 1U 19" rack housing is available in rated outputs of 1kW, 1.7kW, 2.7kW, 3.4kW, 5kW and 7.5kW and can deliver outputs of up to 7520W. With the lowest weight, the devices offer the highest power density currently available in a 1U rack (<5kg for 1.7kW, <7.5kg for 5kW, <8.5kg for 7.5kW).
The latest 5kW and 7.5kW models offer output voltages of up to 1500V and a maximum output current of up to 500A and can be operated in constant voltage, constant current and constant power modes. An adjustable voltage and current slew rate, a built-in resistor simulation and an arbitrary generator with memory function are standard features of all GENESYS+™ power supplies.
Programming is standardized throughout the GENESYS+™ series. Several programming types are available, including LAN (LXI 1.5), USB, RS-232/RS-485 and an isolated analog interface (0-5V, 0-10V), all of which are integrated into the devices as standard. Interface options include EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP, IEEE (488.2) and an isolated analog interface (4-20mA). A unique, easy-to-configure, automatic command/auxiliary system for parallel connection enables the configuration of scalable power systems up to 90kW.
