The EZA2500 is a bi-directional DC-DC converter to stabilize a DC grid supplied from renewable energy sources with the help of a 48V battery. In the event of an imbalance between the energy fed in and consumption, the EZA absorbs energy and buffers it in the 48V battery or compensates for supply deficits with energy from the battery. Thanks to fully digital control, the EZA works with just one transformer for both operating modes and can switch between them very quickly. The EZA is designed as a 19' 1U unit for installation in the control cabinet. In addition to energy storage systems, typical applications include test systems for batteries and systems for energy recovery in drives for robots, cranes, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) or elevators.
