CCG

Isolated DC-DC converters from 1.5 to 30 W

The CCG1R5 (1.5 W), CCG3 (3 W), CCG6 (6 W) and CCG10 (10 W) model series comprise 36 types with 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V single output and +/-12 V and +/-15 V dual outputs. The dual outputs can be connected in series for output voltages of 24 V and 30 V. A 4:1 wide input voltage range of 4.5 to 18V, 9 to 36V or 18 to 76Vdc is available. This means that two of the typical operating voltages of 5V, 12V, 24V and 48V are always covered, which can reduce the number of types required by the user.

The 1.5W and 3W models come in the same 15.7mm x 10.4mm x 11.5mm (length x width x height) housing, and the 6W and 10W models also come in a slightly larger housing with a 19mm x 12.4mm footprint (length x width) and a height of 11.5mm (11.8mm for the SMD versions). The plastic housing is not potted, which eliminates any quality risks in connection with silicone potting compounds in reflow soldering processes.

The operating temperature range of the CCG1R5 to CCG10 extends from -40 to +100 °C both with convection cooling and with forced cooling with only low power derating. Overcurrent limitation and remote on/off are standard features, plus a trim function with an adjustment range of -5/+10% of the nominal voltage for all single outputs. The input to output insulation voltage is 1,500 Vdc. Safety approval is based on IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 with CE and UKCA marking for the low voltage and RoHS directives.
