Microchip's MCP604x series of DC/low frequency operational amplifiers (LF-OPs) are rail-to-rail amplifiers that are suitable for amplifying low-frequency signals in low-power applications with the lowest supply voltages of 1.4 V and a typical current consumption of less than 600 nA. Even at extreme temperatures, the MCP640X series therefore easily solves all tasks in which conventional OPs place a sensitive load on the current requirements of the overall circuit. The operational amplifiers are available as one, two and four-channel versions, with and without chip select connection. A special feature of this series is the MCP6401 in a SOT-23 housing measuring just 2.8 mm x 2.9 mm. This OP with only 5 contacts can easily be used in applications where small footprint and low power consumption are essential requirements.
