Thanks to their particularly low self-inductance and the possibility of direct mounting between the busbar and heat sink, our E61 and E53-H series capacitors are particularly suitable for the high operating frequencies of modern SiC circuits. With continuous currents of up to 75A, they can withstand even the high challenges of your intermediate circuit.

This series has numerous advantages over electrolytic capacitors:

In addition, E61 makes the efficiency of our highly reliable PK16 technology accessible to intermediate circuits with lower power ratings, where the capacitors can be integrated directly into the PCB.
The windings are encapsulated in an insulating plastic housing with solid resin, the connection is made via robust M6 internal threads (E61-P5, E53-H2), M8 bolts (E53-H1) or PCB-compatible pins (E61-P3).
Electronicon offers film capacitors "Made in Germany". From the coating of the film to the winding and manufacturing of the capacitors, the entire process takes place at the plant in Gera. Film capacitors offer various advantages in power electronics and are environmentally friendly in production.
Since the early forties, when SIEMENS&HALSKE AG moved parts of their production from Berlin to East Thuringia in the heart of Germany, capacitors have been manufactured by ELECTRONICON Kondensatoren GmbH (formerly RFT Kondensatorenwerk) in Gera.
