USB Print and Device Server
With the DS-700, you can easily integrate USB devices into a network and share them over the network. Printers, scanners, hard drives, dongles, card readers and other USB devices become network-compatible. The USB device can thus be placed anywhere in the network without a direct computer connection.
The special feature of the DS-700, however, is that it supports an isochronous transfer mode, i.e. devices such as industrial USB cameras (Full- and Hi-Speed) and loudspeakers that require continuous real-time data transfer can thus also be used in a network environment.
The free SX-Virtual-Link connection software makes it easy for users to control and access the connected USB devices. In addition, AMC Manager software is available for enterprise remote management and mass configuration of Silex network products, allowing network administrators to centrally manage many Silex device servers.
