PAN1780
High Performance and Long Range with NFC-A interface
The PAN1780 is a Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy Module based on the Nordic nRF52840 single-chip controller. The Bluetooth 5.0 features enable a higher symbol rate of 2 Mbps using the high-speed LE 2M PHY. Furthermore, the new LE advertising extensions allow for much larger amounts of data to be broadcasted in connectionless scenarios.
The PAN1780AT variant uses a proprietary GATT profile developed by BlueRadios to stream data; it is not an official Bluetooth profile. The BlueRadios implementation of the serial port simplifies the user experience and allows the user to stream data, similar to how the official Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP) works on BR/EDR devices.
