The Flex series from Adel System is characterised by its particularly high flexibility: At first glance, the overload capacity of 150% is not particularly high, but this so-called power boost is possible not only for 5s - as is usually the case - but for 3 min. Furthermore, various overload modes can be selected via jumpers. In addition to the usual hiccup mode with automatic restart, there is also a manual reset for applications with special safety requirements. The Continuous Output Mode, on the other hand, continuously supplies a high current even when the output voltage is close to 0 V. This is of great advantage in case of high capacitance. This is of great advantage with high capacitive loads (supercaps) or particularly powerful motors. Often, the Flex power supply can be selected one power class smaller due to its high overload capacity, so that the customer can save installation space and costs.

Overload behaviour (3 modes)

AdelSystem supplies industrial power supplies, uninterruptible power supplies, battery chargers and battery storage for DIN rail mounting with special qualifications that enable reliable and fail-safe complete solutions independent of external UPS systems.

The battery chargers for all commercially available Pb battery systems - open, sealed and gel - as well as NiCd and NiMh are microprocessor-controlled to ensure long battery life and a high level of safety: unacceptable charging processes with danger to the battery and equipment are reliably avoided.

The power supplies, which are designed to meet the needs of industry, offer a power boost of 150% and thus ensure that even thermal or magnetomechanical overload fuses are triggered safely and behave in accordance with EN60204-1.

In addition to the actual UPS logic, the all-in-one UPS solutions also offer a power supply and a battery charger. Backup batteries can also be mounted on the DIN rail. Thus, instead of just a classic DIN rail power supply, a completely fail-safe DIN rail power supply can also be implemented in the same place.
