TachoConnect pro/evo is a hardware platform specially developed for the TACHOfresh application software (www.tachofresh.de), with which current driving time information can be determined and displayed via the info interface (D8 Interface) and driver and vehicle data can be downloaded from the digital tachograph via a mobile phone connection (Remote Download). The hardware is connected to the digital tachograph via the D8 interface (KLine) for the info data and either via the front (KLine) or the rear interface (CAN2) for the remote download. The main application for this hardware platform is in vehicles that do not have any telematics hardware for Track&Trace. The additional functionality is realised via an integrated GPS receiver.
