Whitepaper: Is Wi-Fi 6(E) the future of Wi-Fi?

One of the lessons learned during the recent pandemic is that companies are changing how they do business. For example, employees may not need to report to the office or campus. Instead, they may prefer to work remotely, either part-time or full-time, but expect the same company's enterprise Wi-Fi experience as well. We now have an infinite enterprise. Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E are part of a wireless paradigm shift toward infinitely distributed connectivity.

The availability of 6GHz frequency space for Wi-Fi will have many implications in the real world. The 2.4 GHz band is considered a best-effort band with sharp performance degradation due to many devices crowding the connection. Today, 5 GHz performance can also suffer from overcrowding. 6 GHz enables crystal-clear communications in a brand new spectrum made available for Wi-Fi.

This new band will bring value for connecting mission-critical IoT devices, such as healthcare patient monitoring equipment or industrial process monitoring and control systems.

Read about the difference and features of Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E in the following whitepaper.
